I love the reference to the 5-year plans of the USSR. That's pretty much how I see all this planning.

My measurable objective is to get 100 book reviews on Amazon by Dec. 31 for my book, Real Skills, Real Income. I'm at 29 right now. This objective is important because it substitutes reviews for sales and shapes pricing, publicity choices, etc. This marketing criterion is what's important to me.
