Ashley V. Routson

One of my favorite instruments in my mental toolbox is my rather vivid photographic memory. I rarely get lost because I can mentally track my travels. Peoples faces are easily recorded images - yet, I struggle emensely with names. If you agree with the theories on learning styles and multiple intellegence, then you might find those who are not strong auditory learners may have troubles remembering names. I am extremely visual and kinesthetic -and not very strong in the auditory. I have made it a habit to write down peoples names when they tell me them and try to use the name a few times while speaking to the person.
